Providing personal information

When you provide us with your personal information, you authorise us to collect and use this. This is necessary to send an order to you or to give asked advice about products. The capturing of personal data both counts for our (potential) customers as for affiliated parties with whom we do business.

Are you a (potential) supplier or contractor?We use your data to send you a quotation, help you with questions about your order and give advice, send an invoice and to communicate smoothly and efficiently with you about your purchase. How convenient!

Are you a (potential) supplier or contractor?Your personal data are essential for the conclusion and implementation of our mutual agreement. When we buy from you, we want to let you know what our wishes and demands are for our orders. Your data is also crucial for quotation requests and the placing of orders at your company. When there are questions or advice is needed, it’s nice if we communicate with you directly.

You are not obligated to provide us with your personal data. But if you don’t, there are consequences. For when you don’t tell us what your address is, we are not able to deliver the package to you. And that’s the last thing you want!

We sell products, not your data

Cubic Colors will not sell your personal information to third parties. But sometimes, it’s necessary to notify an external supplier. This has to do with the execution of your order. There may be parties who supply parts, materials and products or who send a package with ordered products to you on behalf of Cubic Colors.

We use external servers for the storage of (parts of) our sales and purchase administration. Your personal data are part of this as well, so they have to be provided to the provider of our server space. Besides, we use Microsoft Office and its associated storage options for e-mail and other files. Because we use a newsletter mailing service, your personal data are passed on to the provider of this service (but only when you’ve indicated that you want to receive our newsletter).

Our marketing policy: non-committal and honest

When you give us the permission, we will save your personal information for the sending of our newsletters. They are used to inform you about existing and new products. Of course, we don’t want you to experience our mailings as spam. When you don’t want to receive them anymore, you can easily let us know by pressing the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every newsletter.

How long is my data saved?

When you asked for a quotation, but you didn’t become a customer, your data will remain at our database for the maximum of one year after our latest contact. After that, your personal information will be deleted. The same counts when we received a quotation from you, but we didn’t become your customer. Did you become our customer or are we one of yours? Then your personal data will be kept in our administration for seven years (calculated after the end of the financial year in which the agreement with you has been fully implemented). Those seven years are there for a reason: they match the period in which we’re obliged to keep our administration for the tax authorities. After these years, we will delete your personal information.

Stand in your right!

The fact that you share your personal data with us doesn’t mean that you have nothing to say about them anymore. You have the right to view your personal data. When there is a good reason, we can supplement the data or change inaccuracies. You also have the right to ask us to delete your personal information or to restrict the use of it. You can even oppose the collecting and use of your data, or you can file a complaint at the Authority Personal Data. But of course, we prefer to solve things over a cup of coffee. :)
